Description
Cedar treasure box made using the Magewappa method.
Cute little two-tiered box made by Mr Shunji Kurimori, master of Magewappa. This method of working wood with water vapour at high temperature enables a strip of wood to be modelled into the desired shape. The inside of the box is covered in a food-safe varnish, so you can hide your favourite sweets, chocolates, biscuits, etc. inside. You can also put sugar inside to go with tea, or spices for cooking.
