Description
Ice bucket set with its wooden tongs.
Handmade by Mr. Shunji KURIMORI, master of the Magewappa technique. This technique, which is more than 400 years old, uses steam at high temperature to shape the wood into the desired form. Most often the shapes are cylindrical, but this bowl pushes this technique to the limit! The insulating quality of the wood allows the ice cubes to be kept for a long time and reduces condensation.
This item received the Japanese "Good Design" award in 2000.
