Description
A set of five leaf-shaped chopstick rests, covered with wild cherry bark with the kabazaiku technique.
They will also be useful to put cutlery or even just to decorate your table.
The veins of the leaves are expressed with the gold colored lines of the cherry bark arranged in a chevron pattern. Each leaf has a different expression to add color to your table every day.
Denshiro's "Kabazaiku" bark processing technique dates back to 1851, and has been passed down through six generations.
The bark of wild cherry trees is harvested in such a way as to allow for regeneration so as not to interfere with the growth of the trees.
