Set of a handmade tea box and its a tea leaves spoon in the shape of a guard (Uri) or eggplant (Nasu) made of Pterocarya wood covered with wild cherry bark using the "Kabazaiku" (bark work) technique. This technique of the Denshiro house dates back to 1851, and has been passed down over six generations. The wild cherry bark is harvested in such a way as to allow its regeneration so as not to hinder the growth of the trees.
